History
They originated in Australia in the 1890's, when breeders crossed imported Yorshire Terriers with their native Australian Terriers.
Care and Health
This breed is generally a healthy breed. They are prone to Tracheal collapse, Epilepsy, Diabetes Mellitus, Patellar Luxation. Brushing and combing 2-3 times per week along with a bath every month will keep your dog clean and tangeled free.
