History
 Originating in America in the 1900s, it was bred to be a sled dog.
Care and Health
            Prone to cataracts, seizures, hip dysplasia, and skin allergies. Profuse shedding requires daily brushing, only needs a bath when it begins to smell.
          Fun Fact
            A Chinook sled dog team was the first to get to the summit of Mt. Washington in New Hampshire in 1925.
           Good For
            Outdoorsy types, hunters, and those who can give the dog a lot of exercise.
