History
The Doxiepoo also called the Doodle, Doxiedoodle, Dachshundpoo or the Dachshunddoodle is a cross between the Dachshund and the Poodle. He is a medium sized cross breed with a life span of 10 to 15 years.
Care and Health
The Doxiepoo is a hypoallergenic dog thanks to the Poodle parent and sheds very little if its coat resembled the Poodle. The Dachshund supports low shedding as well. The medium to long hair on the Doxiepoo requires daily brushing to prevent tangles and mats. Regular ear cleaning with a veterinarian approved solution will help to avoid ear infections in your Doxiepoo, whose ears are long and floppy with moderate feathering. You should also brush your dog’s teeth at least twice a week to prevent dental disease and keep his mouth clean. The Doxiepoo does not drool much at all. Keeping his coat and teeth clean are important parts of pet ownership.
