Originally from Germany, bred as a combination of poodles and Affenpinschers.

Tendency to be overweight so daily excercise and moderate diet are required. Frequent grooming are needed.
Fun Fact
Bred to be a medium sized dog in the 1800s to help with farming, but conntinued breeding it down to a smaller form.
